"Application of 3D Inverse Design Method for Turbomachinery Optimization" will be a presentation of programming code for the design and analysis of components
LONDON and Erlangen, Germany – January 30, 2013 – Advanced Design Technology (ADT), a global leader in the development of advanced turbomachinery design methods and the TURBOdesign Suite with offices in London and New York, today announces that Mehrdad Zangeneh, PhD., professor of thermofluids at University College London and founding director and CEO of ADT, will give a presentation entitled, "Application of 3D Inverse Design Method for Turbomachinery Optimization," from 11:00 to 11:50 a.m. on February 21 as part of this year’s prestigious Lehrstuhl fur Stromungsmechanik (LSTM) at the Technical University, Erlangen in Germany. Attendees to Zangeneh’s presentation will learn the basics of using 3D inverse design code for the design and analysis of turbomachinery components.
LSTM is held every two years at the Friedrich Alexander Universitat in Erlangen and features multiple classes from professors and industrial experts on the development, design and analysis of turbomachinery components. This year’s theme is "Modern Design modern design methods for ventilators, turbines, pumps and turbo chargers".
"With the implementation of Europe’s Ecodesign Directive, optimization of fan and pump designs has taken on increased importance in meeting efficiency requirements," says Zangeneh. Mehrdad Zangeneh, PhD. and professor of thermofluids at University College London, is founding director and CEO of Advanced Design Technology (ADT).
