TURBOdesign® 2013 Pump Initiative showcases at Texas A&M 29th Pump Symposia

Houston, Texas, NEW YORK and LONDON – September 16, 2013 – Advanced Design Technology (ADT), a global leader in the development of advanced turbomachinery design methods and the TURBOdesign Suite, will exhibit in Booth 1618 at the Texas A&M 29th Pump Symposia, October 1-3, at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston. ADT will showcase its TURBOdesign® 2013 Pump Initiative, which was developed to show participants how to develop breakthrough designs in significantly less time while also reducing computational fluid design (CFD) analysis requirements. In support of the Initiative, ADT will host a free pump design seminar in room 343A of the Hilton Americas Houston from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2. Pump design engineers and original equipment manufacturers will benefit from the 3D inverse design technology in ADT’s TURBOdesign Suite and from ADT’s TURBOdesign® 2013 Pump Initiative.

TURBOdesign® 2013 Pump Initiative Launches

LONDON and NEW YORK – August 15, 2013 – Advanced Design Technology (ADT), a global leader in the development of advanced turbomachinery design methods and the TURBOdesign® Suite today announces the launch of its worldwide TURBOdesign® 2013 Pump Initiative in which users will learn to develop breakthrough designs in significantly less time while also reducing computational fluid design (CFD) analysis requirements. The initiative will last through November and entails a series of five free pump design webinars, online hands-on test drives, and introductory product pricing. Turbomachinery designers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) will benefit from the next evolution of three-dimensional (3D) pump design as a result of participating in the TURBOdesign Pump Initiative 2013 and by using the 3D inverse design methodology in TURBOdesign Suite.

LONDON, NEW YORK and VANCOUVER – April 10, 2013 – Advanced Design Technology (ADT), a global leader in the development of advanced turbomachinery design methods and the TURBOdesign Suite today announced that its customer, ARC’TERYX Equipment Inc. (ARC’TERYX), the Vancouver-based outdoor clothing and sporting goods manufacturing company, hired ADT to assist in the design of an evolutionary avalanche airbag backpack system that will save lives while providing a far superior user experience via a battery-powered electric motor that inflates airbags instead of relying on compressed gas cartridges or cylinders. ADT optimized the blower system.

Soler & Palau Uses ADT’s TURBOdesign1 to Develop New Fan Designs in Less Time

Soler & Palau used TURBOdesign1 to develop a new fan design that meets Europe’s Ecodesign Directive requirements.
